A little bit About RebeccaRebecca Dussault’s passion is cross country skiing and and that's what she lived all the way to the 2006 Winter Olympics. Not only is she an amazing skier, but a multi-sport athlete, wife, and mother to four children whom she home schools. Ski mountaineering, mountain and road bike racing, running, xc skiing, triathlon and adventure racing are a few sports where you’ll find Rebecca giving it her all. She has competed in the World Championships of 4 different sports on 3 separate continents.
As a faithful and devout Catholic, Rebecca carries her enthusiasm for the Truth into the arena of professional athletics. She shares deeply and truthfully what it has meant to her to be raised as a daughter of the Church, staying faithful even when the world dares her to be unfaithful and uncommitted. Rebecca’s experience encompasses growing up as an over achiever student and athlete, making teams, traveling the world extensively, competitions, retirements and God inspired comebacks. As a teenager she received challenges to her faith from racers and coaches. Eventually, unable to reconcile this conflict within the sporting world, she left the spotlight as one of the best skiers in the United States. After time away from the sport's highest level, in which she gave birth to their first son, she had time to refocus and regain love for sport and its placement in the proper perspective. She came out of retirement with her a family in tow and together they traveled the world and prepared for the Olympics. Rebecca qualified to compete for the US Cross Country Ski Team in the 2006 Olympics in Turin, Italy and skied in three events. Since competing in the Olympics, Rebecca has gone on to win numerous other races including becoming the first non-European ever to win the ITU Winter Triathlon World Championships in Eidsvol, Norway in 2010. Rebecca has a growing passion for lifestyles which promote health and holiness. She reaches deep to keep her family and friends fit and fired up about their own ability to succeed in life, while feeling the fullness of health in body, mind, and soul. 2006 Olympian

Here's what others are saying about Rebecca's coaching and influence in their lives. Chantal writes- "Rebecca has been a driving force in my life. Her spirit of dedication, motivation and inspiration has propelled me through many challenges and raised the bar of my own belief in my capacity to excel. She has not only coached me up mountains, on skis and over race courses, but she has been a mentor and spiritual companion always asking me to strive for the highest heights of holiness. She has nourished my body and my soul over the years, calling me on to discipline myself for the sake of my health and my interior life. You would be wise to invite her to assist you on your journey as well. Whether you seek mentorship, coaching, nutritional support or spiritual guidance seek no further- God has procured for you an amazing navigator for your adventure!" -Chantal Howard Aspen, CO Karen writes- "We became connected with Rebecca through an email that arrived in my inbox talking about her book Mass Start. I read her book immediately because I was intrigued with the idea of a contemporary Olympic athlete committed to her Catholic faith, her family and her athletic goals. She is a wonderful role model for myself and my family and we decided to move forward with Rebecca's Seasonal Intensive Training Program. What a blessing to have Rebecca set up a daily training program that included an initial consultation and evaluation that she has used to create an personalized monthly plan. Rebecca monitors daily workouts via an online training log and emails and also provides videos of exercises too. The encouragement, both spiritual and training-wise, that she provides is invaluable on the journey towards lofty athletic goals and the important day-to-day steps along the way." -Karen, CA Sharalee writes- "I feel amazingly blessed to be able to say I am friends with Rebecca Dussault. Our friendship began in 2010 when I was invited by another friend to do workouts once a week in her front yard with a friend of hers (Rebecca Dussault). At that time I had no idea that I was being invited to work out with an Olympic athlete and a person whose athletic ability far exceeded anything I had ever dreamed of being, actually, far exceeded anything I even desired to have! With 3 kids, and two family business's, I was lucky to work out the once a week for an hour and I had never, well, HAVE never entered into any type of athletic race to be a competitor. A couple 5K fundraisers is about the extent of my racing career and I didn't win any medals, I assure you! But, with Rebecca it is amazing that no matter how incredibly strong and able she is, she never has made me feel inferior. She has always encouraged me and run right by my side. She just runs beside me doing squats with weights as she runs, but she does it with a smile and talking the whole time. When we swim at the pool, she helps me when I ask questions with answers that are from the helping heart and she has unending patience to show me multiple times when I ask to see how to something again. I am always amazed at how caring, patient, loving and kind she is to not just me who is there with her, but everyone around us. She is an example of a Godly woman in all she says and does. Our conversation often comes back to the will of God and the glory of his blessings in our lives. Being friends with an olympic athlete can be intimidating, but not so with Rebecca! It is INSPIRING!!!! I always know that when I am with Rebecca I am with someone who inspires me to increase my relationship with God and be a better person. I am grateful for her!" -Sharalee Pederson |
