We have circled back with our Boston doctors today to ask again "why?" that procedure didn't happen. The moments there were rushed and chaotic, so now that we've decompressed from travel and much higher stress, we wanted to get clarification again. We were reassured that the correct decisions were made as they were better spelled out to us in layman's terms today. We are grateful for that.
The doctors here at Children's did not deem it necessary for me to be admitted so we've had a day or two out of the hospital to be very present with each other and the Lord. It is such a process to gather and understand information, have time to think and pray over it, make a plan and then watch it change, to then start the process again.
Tomorrow we will head back to Children's in an attempt to gain final clarification on different scenarios and try to be the most prepared stewards we can be over this little life which will be joining us. There will be decision making on the fly too, so please pray for our continued discernment, acceptance of worthy counsel, and our unity.
Beyond all these measures we cling to Phillipians 4:7 "...the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
These and so many other Scriptures give us unanimity and gracefulness through what is a difficult time.
It's sustaining to us to be so held up by the prayers, sacrifice, donations and hospitality of all of you! We will never be able to adequately thank you all! ...but in the strongest attempt for this moment, THANK YOU!
Here is a picture of sweet baby Peace taken from our ultrasound on Friday.
Bless each of you,
